    Help indentifying monitor speakers

    Hello to everyone! This is my first post. I have used Altecs forever and I found a couple of monitors I can't identify. Thanks!

    That's a screw, use a flat blade screw driver to remove, or tighten it. Hope that helps. :lol:

    Box looks like it's probably a 618, the screw is evidence it's been messed with since day one, what's inside is a wild guess at best.

    IMO it probably housed a 604/605 duplex driver.But a picture of the whole box front/back would be helpful,as noted.Box has been altered there shouldn't be a screw going through the Altec label as Bowtie said!
